Scrapbookin' Adventures challenge #17 is to use 6 pattern papers in a project. I made a layout using Echo Park's Happy Camper. I used a distressed base, fussy cutted the trees from a patterned paper and used 4 other pp from the line.

My Scraps and More sketch # 42

Using more scraps and bits and pieces from the Echo Park Happy Camper line I made the last layout for our camping trip last summer.

When I saw this video making a layout with My Mind's Eye Kate & Co...I had to buy the collection of course. Sometimes seeing one layout using the product is all it takes. Then I made my own. I didn't stray much from the original layout, just a bit because I had used up some of the kit. I used a 4x6 picture and cut it to 4x4 but I think I need to order a 5x7 and cut it to 5x5 now.  still love it though!

Some recent classes...

I've taken a few classes at my LSS Scrapbookin' Adventures this summer for fun and came out with 4 layouts from each class. The first 4 (2 singles and a double) are from Naomi's class in July.

The next 4 (double and two singles) are from Bianca's class last week:

This double is my completed entry for the sketch challenge at Scrapbookin' Adventures:
This layout I put together with my remaining scraps of the EP Happy Camper line and still need to order the pictures. I used sketch #42 from My Scraps and More

A summer cold often makes scrapbooking difficult. While your head is down in concentration, your nose is dripping and your head 'fills up' til you can't stand it. But I still managed to turn out a single and a double layout last night. Partly just to distract me from how sick I was feeling, and partly because when I'm sick...I can't sleep so in and amongst 'Heartland' episodes which I'm officially hooked on, I did this:

Scrapbook Steals Aquamarine #6

my layout, I tried the zigzag but it just wasn't working for me. and I'm down to the last few pictures (you know the ones you've skipped through a hundred times already) before putting in another order and luckily had 6 random verticals of Reece over 3 months. Worked great for this kind of layout!

Scrapbookin' Adventures sketch challenge #16

my layout, this worked perfectly to finish up my camping pictures because I did a class at the store this week using the same EP camping line and made 4 layouts...mostly with vertical pictures. so here is a spot to put all the horizontal pictures...once I order them that is!
