Scrapbookin Adventures current challege is 'the big picture'....use a 5x7 or larger on your layout. I combined that with the sketch challenge from Scrapmuch?

Aquamarine #3

Scrapbook Steals Aquamarine #3

this one threw me through a bit of a loop. so not my style, and so didn't fit what I had in front of me to work with so I changed it up using someone else's idea with the 3x4 cards and made it a bit more my style. what is my style? not to sure, clean and organized?

here's my layout:

Okay just one more!

After spending some QT with the boys, they got busy playing...nicely. So up I went to my scrapping room and completed one layout. And now I'm going to leave the mess of the desk for later and go do something else summery with the kids.

Scrapbook Steals Aquamarine #2

my layout, using a Piggy Tales line that I have in a way used to death, I'm down to a few scraps. Got my money worth out of that kit, bought from Scrapbook Steals of course!

A whole lot of scrapbooking got done last week!

Not only did I spend 7 hours at my LSS scrapping, I also spent a week at my BFF's house where we got lots of cropping time in. So after this one week, I came out with 20 layouts. Not bad ; )

Scrapbook Steals started a new series of sketch challenges: Aquamarine

Aquamarine #1:
 my layout:

I won the above product from my LSS Scrapbookin' Adventures for a previous challenge. He Said, She Said by Teresa Collins. I made good use of my prize pack and I still have enough left to make another layout or two!:

My entry for Scrapbookin' Adventures Challenge #14 Scraplift is part of the Disney layouts I did for our one day in Disneyland in 2009. It was a very special day because it was with my parents, my sis and her family, my bro and his then girlfriend (now wife and soon to be mother to my new nephew!), and my family. That is a lot of "Ashtons" in Disneyland!! Why only one day? Because we carried on to Palm Springs for our week in the sun after that. Disneyland was a side trip.

I scraplifted Bianca's Paris layout:

Here are the rest of my Disney layouts:

This last one is for the My Scraps and More Sketch challenge #36

my layout of our family at Goofy's Kitchen (and yes I realize Pluto is the character in the picture, go figure!)

A few other layouts:

That's all for now. Already chomping on the bit to get back at it...it's been almost a week of no scrapping already! Too busy enjoying summer and my boys!

Finishing off the Peridot Series

Peridot 10, the end of another series of sketches from Scrapbook Steals. A double layout again.

I didn't have enough pictures for a double layout (getting low on my stack of pics again, time to start putting together another order), so I did two single layouts.

Peridot 10a. I did these two layouts at a crop at my LSS so forgot to journal or add dates. I'll get to that at some point. Anyways pretty self explanatory...Reece starting to eat food.

Peridot 10b: another one I forgot to journal on. The boys were 'helping' daddy lower the crib.

Unpacking from one crop last night where I got 7 layouts done in 7 hours including 5 layouts of our Disney day (yes we did one day only) in 2009. One more layout to go and that trip is done and documented. But now packing again for a week at my BFF's house who is the one who got me into this craft. So I expect many hours of cropping to happen while our 6/7 year old's are at VBS in the mornings and my 4 yr old is hanging with Grandma. Excited.
